BSOD on sleep and hibernate, Dual boot Win7 & Ubuntu 14

I recently clean-installed Win 7 Pro 64, followed by Ubuntu 14.10, both on an SSD(EFI) and set up for dual-boot. Win User files are relocated to d: drive (a Highpoint RocketRAID5 drive.)

Windows seems to work fine, except when I sleep or hibernate it. Sleep initiates correctly, but on reawakening, it allows login then BSODs. Hibernate works about the same.

First search for any possible updates. If you dont find any feasible update, better you disable RAID.

Thanks tons for reviewing this, Arc. Very useful. Though the choice between the RR RAID array and sleep is a tough one for me, so I'll not yet mark this as Solved.

I'll report your assessment HighPoint (maker of RocketRaid) to see if they can update the driver. I'll report back how, or if they respond.

Follow-up

Thanks again for your advice, Arc,
HighPoint provided updated (Apr 2013) drivers. It improved thing only slightly: I still get BSOD on hibernate; but I can recover from sleep, though there are still some anomalies.

I assume that the rr64x.sys drivers are still implicated in these BSODs. I've attached a more recent DM Log. Would you mind confirming my assumption?

So apparently it will be the way to disable RAID.

It might end up to a clean reinstall. So if you have any data to backup, back it up before you disable RAID.
