Hi
I am getting BSOD on start up, bad pool header given as the reason. It had a problem starting yesterday - it to went into repair/restore mode without success and now it just goes straight to BSOD.

I am not aware of any changes to the PC within the last few days to have made a difference - sorry! that does not seem much to go on...

I have uploaded the zip file from the diagnostics tool hope all the information is there!

Any help gratefully received, many thanks
Simon

Just to add to my first post, I meant to say that I've run the Windows Memory Diagnostics and that did not pick up anything - although i gather from reading various posts on the subject of bad pool headers this may not be entirely conclusive and there are better tools to use.

It seems that AVG is the cause of your BSOD. Please remove it for testing purpose. Use Microsoft Security Essentials.

Recommended from a strict BSOD perspective, compatibility & stability compared to other security software:

Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

Malwarebytes - Free
