Alright I will get started, but how will I get blue screens if something is wrong? Sometimes it takes awhile to get that BSOD. Alright I'll start testing.

When I put in the first stick of RAM into the motherboard the computer booted up and asked me if I want to delete ram maps so windows doesn't get unexpected errors I said yes and the computer restarted, but would do give out a display. So I figured that that might be the stick of ram that is defective, but I am not sure. I then put that stick of ram into another slot, still no display. I took that module out and put it away and took another module and placed it in a slot. The computer booted up fine with display and was able to get into windows with no problems. Before I keep testing I want to know. do you think that stick might be defective and then causing it not to show display because it had no other RAM to support it? Thanks if not I'll keep testing.

Have you tried putting the same suspected bad stick back in the system by itself to see if the problem repeats itself. If it is the only module that causes that behavior, it's a safe bet that the module is bad.

I am going to try to put the bad stick in and see if it crashes. I out both of the other modules in and the computer is running fine with 8gbs. Thanks for all the help. I'll update you after I try.
