Hey guys, I just received my new gaming pc from a local electronics store. It was going really well and I was happy with it until I did the initial windows update. Aso of now every time my computer tries to configure the updates after installing them it crash and show the error code 0x0000124. I can't get it to even boot. I unplugged and plugged back every piecesingle in it and there's nothing happening it keeps on crashing during the boot. Help me

0x124 is mostly a hardware related issue. But any component involved into the environment of the computer may influce this error.

As you are pointing to windows updates, you may try to uninstall the updates and see how it goes.

Boot into http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/666-advanced-boot-options.html > Safe Mode with Command Prompt. Then, follow http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/109213-windows-update-uninstall-console-level.html in the command prompt. See what happens.

If it problems in Safe Mode too, then be sure that it is a hardware level issue.
