Good afternoon!

Each time I start my computer up I get the above error.

I can use the computer by only by repeatedly hitting F8 then using the 'last known good configuration' option.

When watching videos on the Computer they run really slowly.

After some research it appears it's something graphics card related.

Any help if much appreciated!

I've attached the relevant files.

Thanks.

P.S - I have tried this solution to no avail: bsod atikmdag.sys windows 8.1 [Solved] - Blue Screen - Windows 8

Hi GordyBoy87.

We need some more info. Only crash dumps are not enough.

Click on button below ....

It will download the DM log collector. Right click on the application and run as administrator. It will generate a .zip file on your desktop. Upload the .zip.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/9733-screenshots-files-upload-post-seven-forums.html

Also do some more things ....

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.Take a screenshot of the furmark window before closing it. Upload the screenshot for us.

Update the display driver to the latest ..... Download Drivers . It is too old.
Code:
    Image name: atikmpag.sys
    Timestamp: Thu Nov 10 07:42:44 2011 (4EBB331C)

Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy. Alternatively, you can publish a Speccy snapshot too: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/311593-speccy-publish-snapshot-your-system-specs.html .

Let us know the results.

Thanks for the reply Arc.

I've attached the results from the DM Log collector.

Furmark is not working, it installs and then when I open the program it gives me the message: "Couldn't initialize ZoomGPU. FurMark startup failed. Bye!"

I've downloaded the drivers.

Here is my speccy snapshot:

Any ideas?

I should probably note too that upon start up the digits and text is distorted looking.

When it gets to the Vista loading page there are several orange lines running vertically on what should be a black screen with the loading bar in the centre.

I also have little red dots appear on my desktop.

Thanks

There is a fair chance that the graphics is not being able to perform. Specially when it refused to run furmark.

If you can, you may apply any other graphics card there, just to see if it is the same there or not. Let us know.
