BSOD on startup. Pc used to run fine, now its slow after the BSOD.

BSOD on startup.

So I was logging onto my pc, and I got a BSOD on startup. It was an f4 error.
SSD firmware was not the problem, it was up to date when the BSOD happened.

20 hours and still no reply. It has still only happened once, but again my pc is considerably slower. I had this same thing happen on my old pc and I never resolved the issue. It progressively got worse and more frequent untill my pc couldn't run anymore.

Another BSOD just happened today. This is a 1.4k dollar pc and I dont want it to be ruined. 4 days with no response.

At this point im not sure if I should just post another thread or not. Im getting desperate

A thread bump reduces the possibility of having an answer because people search for unattained threads.

Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

1. Click on the Start button
2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
3. Select the “Startup” tab.
4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
5. Apply > OK
6. Accept then restart.

Make it sure that your SSD is running with up to date firmware.

No blue screens on startup. Which is odd considering my ssd firmware was up-to-date and I had only 3 things on my launch in msconfig. Now im having issues which I almost certainly believe is related to the BSOD. Every day my first log on to my pc takes 3 minutes into the welcome screen. Then a white screen appears (at which point the power off button on my pc stops working) for about 3 minutes aswell. Then, all my future logons that day take 3 minutes aswell. It has happened 2 days in a row now.

Everything is starting up considerably slower. Windows is starting slower, CS:Go and other games are booting up slower, and google chrome is starting up slower.

That might be an unpleasant indication about the health of the SSD .... but unfortunately in this section of the forum you will get BSOD related helps only. For teh other issues, if you make a new thread in an appropriate section of the forum, you will get the problem specific assistance.
