Hello everyone, sorry I don't have more information than this. I can't get windows to come up at all.

First, my computer is dual boot, Ubuntu and Win7. Before this happened, I plugged an external hd in and opened it up in the storage manager. Not seeing what I was looking for, I rebooted in Ubuntu and ran gparted. Did what I wanted, then went back to windows. On startup, in getting the bsod with the error code 0x0000007b. There's been no hardware change whatsoever. When I boot the windows installation cd I can see the windows partition without a problem, but all repairs so far have yeilded nothing. Booting in safe mode, I get as far as ahcix64s.sys before the error. What can I do to get this going again?

Edit: I did try replacing ahcix64s.sys but to no avail. I disabled automatic restarts, and in addition to the error code above, I see four more: 0xFFFFF880009A97E8, 0xFFFFFFFFC0000034, 0x0000000000000000,0x0000000000000000

Thank you, I tried that but I'm in raid mode, and I couldn't find the lastorV entry in the registry. I followed the other instructions and it still does the same thing.

Ok, well I was able to fix this with Hiren's boot pe disc. Not precisely sure wish happened, but the one click fix on the disc did it.
