I have been getting a BSOD on start up. I have gotten it three times so far with the first being on 30th of August. After getting the BSOD and the file crash dump thingies are complete I hit the reset button and Launch in Repair Mode. The repair mode then runs a system restore and all is well, until the next time I get the BSOD.

Some details about the problem:

Code:
Problem signature:
  Problem Event Name:	BlueScreen
  OS Version:	6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
  Locale ID:	2057

Additional information about the problem:
  BCCode:	f4
  BCP1:	0000000000000003
  BCP2:	FFFFFA80060C2B30
  BCP3:	FFFFFA80060C2E10
  BCP4:	FFFFF800031E6510
  OS Version:	6_1_7601
  Service Pack:	1_0
  Product:	768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
  C:\Windows\Minidump\090312-14788-01.dmp
  C:\Users\Liam\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-34569-0.sysdata.xml

I think it is also related to a problem where my windows color keeps changing from transparent to a solid color. It has been suggested to me that it is caused by my graphics card, but I can still run video games without any graphical errors. I also saw something about the temperature being too high, but my PC doesn't feel that warm.

Thanks in advance for any help, I am really annoyed by this.

Oh, and here's the .rar file:

Welcome aboard!

What you are getting is a OS level crash, probably caused by wininit.exe, and so I would first suggest you to run http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html

And, Download, install and update Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware, check your entire system with it.

Moreover, if you enable driver verifier, sometimes it may possible to contain more information about the crashes. So enable it.

Let us know how it went.

An update, scanow command produced no results and Mbam is just trudging through my huge Steam folder (260GB) right now. Nothing found yet.

Scan complete, though I'm 90% sure that it wasn't a cause because it was only a game trainer for The Witcher.

Download in d install Speccy - System Information - Free Download, monitor the heat generated by the system just before the crashes.

If there any dust accumulated inside the computer, clean those carefully, Those may help.
