Hey guys, before I go into detail about my bsod issue, I was wondering if you'd still be able to help me out since I'm using Vista, not Windows 7. To me there's only a few differences between them and this forum has seemed to help a lot of people, so I'm here. Please let me know if I can post my issue here. I just started college and I need my laptop to be functional but this BSOD issue is a daily thing so I need to get it resolved asap. Thanks!

Sure thing! What type of dump is needed though? A Kernel memory dump, Small memory dump (minidump), or Complete memory dump? Will any of those include personal information from my computer? Thanks again!

Nevermind, got it to work. Here's the problem. Basically, I moved to college about a week ago. For some reason, Windows Updates had been turned off on my computer for quite a while, so when I moved in, the network here requires us to turn on automatic updates, so pretty much during the first night, my computer downloaded like 6 months worth of updates. Ever since then, I've been getting the blue screen. Sometimes while I'm using it, sometimes when I wake it up from sleep. I'll attach a picture of the screen as well as the dump files. Thank you so much.

You've missed some files.

MSINFO32:
Please go to Start and type in "msinfo32.exe" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Save the report as an .nfo file, then zip up the .nfo file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
Also, save a copy as a .txt file and include it also (it's much more difficult to read, but we have greater success in getting the info from it).

Keeping two Antivirus software is not a good idea.
  • Start Menu\Programs\ESET Public:Start Menu\Programs\ESET Public
  • Start Menu\Programs\ESET\ESET Smart Security Public:Start Menu\Programs\ESET\ESET Smart Security Public
Please uninstall ESET antivirus (contributing to your crashes). Only use MSE for the time being.
------------------------
Microsoft Security Essentials & the Free version of Malwarebytes, update and make full scans separately:
   Note
:info: Do not start the trial version of MalwareBytes

You may also take a look at:
------------------------
Reduce the start-up items, Antivirus software is basically whats required.
------------------------
Run the System File Checker that scans the of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible:
  • Click on the :orb:
  • Type CMD on Search
  • Left click and Run as Administrator
  • Type SFC /scannow - read here
Run Disk Check on your Hard Drive for file system errors and bad sectors on it - read here
------------------------
Monitor hardware temperature with system monitoring software like Speccy or HWMonitor. Upload a screen shot of the Summary tab as well:
--------------------------
Please uninstall these software below with Revo Uninstaller Free.
  • Start Menu\Programs\Free Window Registry Repair Public:Start Menu\Programs\Free Window Registry Repair Public
  • Start Menu\Programs\Spybot - Search & Destroy Public:Start Menu\Programs\Spybot - Search & Destroy Public

and install Revo Uninstaller.
  • Opt for "Advanced Mode" and uninstall the software (also delete the leftover registry entries).

----------------------
Lastly update your Intel Wireless WiFi Link Drivers to their latest from here.
Code:
