Just started getting BSOD's on wake-up from hibernation or just browsing the web. I haven't added anything new in the way of programs that I can relate it to.

Blue Screen viewer points me to NTFS-sys+f0780 as the causing the crash and also says Ntoskrnl.exe+74ec0 as the crash address. Don't know if any of that is helpful. Also says KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR.

I have attached my log as per forum instructions.

Thank you all in advance!

Make it sure that the intel ssd is running with the latest firmware.
Also Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
  3. Select the “Startup” tab.
  4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
  5. Apply > OK
  6. Accept then restart.
And uninstall Acronis, at least as a test.

Let us know for any further BSOD.

Seems a given, but if I disable all the programs listed in "services" they will never start unless I do it manually?

Also ran the Intel program for the SSD it was up to date so nothing happened there of note.

Currently NO trouble with BOSD, since my initial post with all services enabled....

For startup, disable them all other than the antivirus.
For services, first hide all microsoft services then disable all.

As they all are installed in the computer, you can call them anytime, manually.

Arc,
Thanks but oddly the antivirus only shows in services not start up. I realize you are trying to troubleshoot the cause, disabling all of them, might be OK for the short term and re-enabling them one at a time until I get crashes seems to be more appropriate. Starting them all manually as I need them seems to be a real time waster. That said, I came here for advice and that's what I got and I appreciate it.

Tnx,

JT

No, not short time. They are never needed.
