Hello all at SevenForums,

Bellow is my system information. The system is not too old (6-7 months), seems strange to get a BSOD.

Welcome to SevenForums.

Please remove the following with Revo Uninstaller Free. Use Advanced mode to uninstall so you're allowed to remove registry leftover of the program.
Code:
Start Menu\Programs\Quick Heal Internet Security	Public:Start Menu\Programs\Quick Heal Internet Security	Public
Please use Microsoft Security Essentials for the time being.

Recommended from a strict BSOD perspective, compatibility & stability compared to other antiviruses/internet security software. It is free and lightweight:-
   Warning
:ar: Do not start the free trial of Malware Bytes; remember to deselect that option when prompted.

Run a full scan with both (separately) once downloaded, installed and updated.

Perform a System File Check:
  1. Click on the start :orb:
  2. Type CMD on Search
  3. Left click and Run as Administrator
  4. Type SFC /scannow
Full tutorial here:
Disk Check on your hard drive for file system errors and bad sectors on it:
Reduce items at start-up. Nothing except anti-virus is required plus improves the time for logging in windows.
Install all updates including Service Pack 1:
Here are the usual causes of your bug checks:
Code:
BugCheck 7F,
STOP 0x0000007F: UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP

Device drivers, SCSI/network/BIOS updates needed, Improperly seated cards,
Incompatible storage devices, Overclocking, Virus scanner, Backup tool,
Bad motherboard, Missing Service Pack

BugCheck E1,
STOP 0x000000E1: WORKER_THREAD_RETURNED_AT_BAD_IRQL

Usual causes: Device driver
Let us know if this has helped in anyway.

Hello,

after removing Quick Heal, no BSOD as yet. hopefully its solved. It was my perception that BSOD is a driver issue.
hope for the best.

thanks.

no BSOD ever-since QuickHeal was removed! I would conclude that, it was just the "anti-virus" which loaded the system and hence the BSOD
