Solved BSOD on windows 7 startup, error 0x0000009c

Hello, i finished building my new machine a few days ago. First i had some wierd things happening where the computer would just restart without a BSOD during windows 7 install (way before the usual place where it restarts). After running memtest and removing my graphics card it let me install windows. During windows boot i get 0x0000009c MACHINE CHECK EXCEPTION and once in a while i get "clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval". I managed somehow to get into windows at one point and the first thing i did was update drivers and run prime95 to check the cpu. It ran fine for 10hours and 0 errors. I ran memtest again after this for 12hours and no errors there either. I checked the PSU in another computer and it ran fine there. When i try too boot up windows now i either get a black screen and then restart or one of the mentioned BSODs. If i could get into windows i would upload crash dump files, but since i cant get passed the windows logo i dont know what to do. Any ideas?

Counterfeit installations such as yours can contain heavily modified code that can cause the installation to behave it unexpected ways. Analysing BSODs and determining their causes on these sorts of installations is completely unreliable, and for this reason most analysts won't attempt it.

My recommendation is to install a genuine copy of Windows 7. This will minimise the problems you are experiencing and make subsequent diagnosis of BSODs far more reliable. Once you are running a genuine Windows 7 installation and are still experiencing BSODs, upload your new logs we will be happy to help you solve them.

Hello again! Sorry it took so long to respond. I have bought a genuine Windows 7 x64 HomePremium key now (I just used the cd my dad gave me before, i didnt really think about if it was pirated or not). I'm still having this problem it still happens during Windows install. I still havent been able to get back into windows, is there another way to get crash dumps?

I sent back the motherboard to the store and they tested it and theres nothing wrong with the motherboard according to them.

I have no clue what is going on and i would really appreciate if i could get some help with this problem

Quick update: Found another guy having sort of the same problem as me, he solved his issue by turning off hyper-threading and only using one cpu core to install windows and update drivers then turning on HT and all cores and it worked for him. So i tried the same and it worked for installing windows/drivers but as soon as i turn on HT and all cores the same problem comes back, bluescreens and random restarts.

But this is a clue right? Its probably a cpu related problem?
