BSoD once a day

Hi there,

I have a Toshiba Satellite L500D. It came with Vista and an upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. I recently had a harddrive failure and had the company fix the computer. Ever since it's back, I've been getting a BSoD almost every time the computer boots. This is what I managed to write down:

6.1.7600.2.0.768.3
Gebietsschema-ID 1031

That's all. Sorry the last part is in German.

So, I have no clue if it has something to do with the Service pack as many have written before. Or if it's something else. Toshiba put in a new harddrive, cleaned the cooler and reset the operating system to said version 7/Home Premium/64bit.

The laptop runs normally almost every time, but not before it restarts itself (!) after the Blue Screen.

I'm not much of an expert, so please be kind and help me.

-Carolin

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000000, memory referenced
Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
Arg3: 0000000000000000, bitfield :
 bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)
Arg4: fffff800032888b6, address which referenced memory
Debugging Details:

Booted three times, still no blue screen. May have worked, so thanks in advance. I'll get back to you if it's still there.

I think that you will be ok. Sometimes the reports are not clear, yours pointed right at that driver. Good luck
