BSOD only while browsing net?

Hey there. I was directed to this site to ask for help with my BSOD problem.

I'll start with what I believe is screwing up my computer. This morning I installed an update for my realtek PCIe drivers because I've been having issues with my network. Ever since then, I've gotten the BSOD every time I browse IMGUR. Now, it's happened a few other times randomly, but it's mostly when I browse that specific website.

Anyways, I did a system restore and it didn't help anything. I've never uploaded a dump file before, so I'm super sorry if I did this wrong, but I'll try to attach it.

Pobeep I see you have AVG on the computer personally I ma not a fan of it not why not try disabling it and then try the IMGUR again.
An option is to use tinypics TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting thing is you have to open it each time you use it but it is good. In this forum you can use the snipping tool but that is just in here How to Use the Snipping Tool in Vista

Now the other option if the IMGUR works with the AVG turned off then just go with another AV plenty here if you want one for free on page 2
Probably the Best Free Security List in the World - Part I or just a paid for one if that suits you more. When you look at the list of AV's (if it comes to that) I am not a fan of AVG, Trend, MSE, or McAfee. The ones I have tested are the Bitdefender Comodo Avira and Avast

Thanks for your reply! I will definitely switch to one of the suggested virus protection. As for imgur, I don't use it for uploading photos. Just for browsing, but I suppose I can do that on my cell phone.

Mine did that a few times ago. IE would freeze, and then my computer would blue screen. It wasn't a virus. All it was, was a hardware error problem. I got on this forum, and they told me what to do.

Yes Jesse mate it can be all sorts of thngs it is just matter of working where and what. The AVG was my main concern and the next place I was going to was the recently updated Realtek as they can be really convoluted.

But mate if you had yours fixed it would be good to share what that was just in case it works for Pobeep.

I also had AVG installed at that time. But, users of this forum suggested other free antivirus programs that are better.

It was the display driver. They told me to uninstall it and reinstall it. Try that and see if it works.

Hmm I thought the name was familiar. What I meant was what at first looks like a hardware problem turns out to be software caused or a wrong driver because the OP has sort of lead you into a direction making you think that or something in the dump files looks that way.
