1. Did this new computer come with Vista?
2. Which version and did you download SP1 before you downloaded Win7?
3. Did you do a "clean install" of Win7 or just an upgrade?
4. Are you dual booting?

Just a few questions for you to answer before anyone can help you :)

Well Dual Bios allows one bios to be the backup of the other bios in case of a failure. I am guessing if you update the bios, you need to update both of them, or else one may be using the old bios, which is causing problems? Also, when was your board made?

When you get the BSOD, what does it actually say when it appears? Is it an IRQ error, a memory error, anything else to help us? If you need to you can disable automatic restart on BSOD if it restart too fast for you.

Well normally the beeps are the computer telling you the error. If you count them it will normally tell you the error. So 4 beeps pause 2 beeps would mean one thing while 4 beeps 3 beeps means something else. Have you looked up BF in your user manual for post codes?

Right click My computer > Properties > Advanced System Settings > Startup and Recovery(settings button) > uncheck automatic restart

Next time you get the BSOD, not the filename or error you get.

I've heard of issues with Gigabyte boards and this sort of error with Windows 7. The most useful advice is to install the most updated drivers (run in compatibility mode as "Run as Vista" and "Run as administrator" for ALL users). The only "customized" setting that seems to help is to adjust the memory voltage from Auto to the specified voltage for your RAM sticks.

See if you can zip up the files located in the C:\Windows\Minidump folder (it may be hiddent) and upload them with your next post. We'll perform an analysis on them to see if we can figure out what's causing the crashes.

Maybe it is harddrive related. Tried stressing out your harddrive? It might also be a voltage problem as well. Make sure your voltages are where they should in your BIOS based on your hardware.
