Hello,

I just got a BSOD. I think it's about my memory or hard drive. I have attached the required files.

When the crash happened I was streaming from netflix using Firefox, working in Word, Outlook was also open.

This time it created the minidump file.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Do you own a Samsung Vibrant (SGH-T959)? It doesn't look like the USB drivers for it are installed. If possible, please install them.

Test your RAM using Memtest86+. Let it run until 6-8 passes have completed or errors have been found.

You will need to remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120% (in your case I believe the software is ImDisk Virtual Disk). They use a driver that was found in your dump called sptd.sys which is notorious for causing BSOD's. Use the below SPTD uninstaller to uninstall the driver...
DuplexSecure - Downloads

...and then install the freeware, MagicDisk (MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM).
Freeware MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM(MagicDisc) Overview

The pre-2009 version of ASACPI.SYS is notorious for causing BSOD's. From the below link, click on Utilities and download and install the 'ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Win7 32&64-bit'.
ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download P7P55D LE

You have avast! installed, is that correct? At least to test, uninstall it and install MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials) instead.
Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

The following drivers need to be updated:

Code:
ADIHdAud.sys Thu May 21 18:21:06 2009
rsdrvx64.sys Fri Feb 13 00:01:49 2009
These drivers can be found by searching them in Google and then finding the associated software or driver. Finally, find the latest version of this driver or software and download and install it. Some of the drivers may also be found here (if the driver says 'Windows Update' simply make sure all Windows Updates are installed).

You should also update any other drivers you can think of including graphics, audio, chipset, SSD etc.

Thank you very much for your reply!

I performed the following tasks:

Memtest86+ for 6 hours. Passed

I wasn't aware I had any CD virtualization installed. However, I did use the DuplexSecure download and removed the sptd driver.

I already have MagicISO isntalled.

I removed Avast and installed MSE.

The version of ASSACPI I have installed was dated July 2009. I assume that it is ok?

The drivers that you found are another matter. I cannot find any updated drivers for ADIHdAud.sys which I assume is my SoundMax integrated audio. When I go to the Analog Devices site to update my driver it redirects me to my MB manufacturing site. I go to ASUS and I have the latest version of the driver installed. Is there somewhere else I can download this driver?

I search for rsdrvx64.sys and I do not recognize any hardware or software that I have installed that uses this driver. I also cannot find any updates for it. Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks again for all of your help!

Hmm, as the SoundMax driver is an OEM driver you most likely won't find an update for it. As for the other driver it is a RawDisk driver. Have you got anything RawDisk or RawDisk related installed?

With the ASACPI driver, I believe you have a slightly older driver (by a week or so). Although I could be wrong I would re-install the driver to be on the safe side.
