Hi

I just started having this issue recently, dont know why or how it started. Im a tech and all my drivers are 100% up to date, Im very savvy with this stuff. Ill post specs first then blue screen info below.

I recently flashed my GPU bios and totally fixed a weird black screen crash on game exit, with no error (not bsod), been a week or so with no crashes until this new BSOD, so they shouldnt be related. I have all the latest drivers from MSI site, and yesterday installed the latest nvidia driver 361.75, with 'perform clean installation' option selected as always. All latest windows updates, clean computer, etc etc.

SPECS: win7 64 bit, msi z87-gd65 mobo, gtx 780 gpu, i7 4770k cpu, ssd,hdd, 16G ram

Nvidia gtx 780 specs:
(GK110, revision B2, BIOS version 80.80.21.00.77 (techpowerup.com), device ID: 10DE-1004, gpu clock: 902 MHz, memory: 1502 MHz, driver version 361.75)

Tech eh? Did you miss the bit about running DMLogCollector and attaching all the files required to troubleshoot the BSOD?

yeah sorry m8 thought i had enough relevant info, here it is. i swear ive almost done everything, gpu and mobo bios flash, clean install drivers multiple times, every mobo driver, windows updated, sfc, etc. I think my card might be defective, because it crashed other night with no error again and the fans were stuck roaring like the old black screen crash. -its mostly blue screens though. also I saw multiple times this error bubble on desktop saying, Nvidia driver has stopped responding, but has recovered. After crashing during a game. Will test with all games.

the last thing ill do is a clean install of windows to test that, then send card in for warranty maybe

I've had a quick look and the faulting adress points to a possible RAM issue. Let's double check to ensure there isn't an issue there (not uncommon when videol cards start misbehaving).

Run a minimum of 12 consecutive passes, preferably overnight, or until errors occur using MemTest86+.

Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

Upload a photo showing the results when its completed please.

ran 4 over 4 passes took 9 hours, couldnt wait another 20+ hours. i think its unlikely memory as apart from graphics related bsods, Ive rarely had bsods, and have scanned with memtest in the past.

Unfortunately MemTest86+ does take a long time to run. Sadly 4 passes is insufficient to thoroughly test RAM.

yeah this is so terrible I cant believe this crap. spent days and weeks trying to figure this out. spent the last 8 hours trying to install windows to a separate test hard drive, but NO GUIDES out there work. my gaming rig is basically a useless pile of trash, even though its top hardware. cant play any games without a massive crash every 10 minutes. cant isolate the issue by installing windows to an external drive, without being led on this convoluted rats maze jsut to find out if windows is the culprit. this is why i hate windows. its a total fail OS made by a scam company. windows is ONLY good for gaming, and onyl when the damn thing doesnt have a blue screen or crash, no solutions, having to maintain 15 drivers, on and on. mac and linux are so much more superior, except you cant run games on them. godamn its always something....end rant
