First I was getting BAD_POOL_CALLER (I would get this while playing BF3)
Now, I just got a "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" (I got this when I exited BF3)

First I thought it was the Processor overheating
Now, I bought a brand new cooler and my processor doesn't go over 60 degrees while playing BF3.

I don't know what the problem is.

This is the minidump for the DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL bsod
012112-19468-01.dmp

and this is one of the minidumps for BAD_POOL_CALLER
012112-19624-01.dmp

this is a second one for BAD_POOL_CALLER just in case
012112-18189-01.dmp

Please help!

All but one BSOD was caused by your Saitek joystick.

Code:
SaiK0836.sys Thu Aug 28 05:03:54 2008 (48B669FA)
See if you can find an updated driver from here - Download drivers and software for Saitek products. If you can't then unfortunately you can use that joystick anymore.

Your other (most recent) BSOD was caused by your video card driver

Code:
nvlddmkm.sys Sat Oct 15 02:07:55 2011 (4E99233B)
Update your video card drivers - NVIDIA DRIVERS 285.62 WHQL

Code:
fffff880`010a4000 fffff880`011c9000 sptd.sys
This driver wasn't loaded by needs to be removed. It belongs to Daemon Tools and is notorious for BSOD. Uninstall Daemon Tools and then run the SPTD removal tool - DuplexSecure

My drivers for the video card are up to date... do you recommend me reinstalling my video card driver, and if so, what procedure should I take doing that?

Btw thanks for your quick help:)

edit: STPD is showing as not installed when I download the program:/

SPTD: Check your drivers folder under System32 for it. Did you remove Daemon Tools.

Video: Leave it for now. See if correcting the joystick driver issue fixes your problems

SPTD Deleted... as for daemon tools, I never fully got it installed because it kept telling me to restart my computer, and the installing process would never finish, so I quit trying.

What I did for the joystick is, I uninstalled the driver via device manager, then downloaded the current driver for 64-bit, restarted when promted to restart, and then installed the driver via the exe after the computer restarted. I will be playing BF3 for a while and see if anything happens. I will post when I have results. Thank you!

I did have another BSOD "BAD_POOL_CALLER"
but I did a bit of research and found out that someone had a problem with their joystick and resolved it by removing SST.... after a bit more research, I found out SST isn't very stable software and can cause BSOD's, so right now I am using JoyToKey instead to see if that has solved the problem. Ill be back when I have more results.

I just got another BSOD Bad_pool_caller playing bf3... and bf3 only because I have been playing other games, i.e. DCS A-10 with my saitek and I haven't gotten any BSOD at all except in BF3. Any ideas?

Same thing again. Crashed caused by joystick. I also notice that you are overclocked. Please remove any over clocks while we try and figure this out.

Your driver date for the joystick is 2008. Were you able to find a more recent driver?

I was not able to find a more recent driver... I got that driver directly from the website, and now I looked for a driver outside of the website but it had the same date. As for my cpu.... I haven't done anything with it :/

Well if you can't find a newer driver then your kinda SOL. Sorry. There's nothing that can be done apart from trying to reinstall it. You can try contact Saitek support for help
