BSOD playing Counterstrike - IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Ok. I did as you suggested and went to the manufacturers website and downloaded the update.

I then disconnected my device, installed the new software and restarted my PC.

Then I connected the device in a different USB port.

Is that all I do ?

It isn't exactly what I suggested, what I suggested:
  1. Update the software/drivers
  2. Remove the device until the system is stable.

Why first updating? When you connect the device again you won't get the same problem again.

? What do you mean.

I did update the software/driver as you said.

If I do not have the device plugged in then I cannot connect to WiFi and cannot play the games which cause the blue screen.

The only thing I could do would be to buy a new wireless adapter. Is that what you suggest?

I only suggest that you remove the adapter, I understand that you cannot play a game but it is required.

I do not suggest to get another adapter!

Okay.

I can remove the adapter.

For how long do I remove it?

Must I do something else also?

Not one long enough.

My PC is located in my bedroom. Router is with the TV and wall outlet in the other room.

Is there anything else I can do?

A last resort for this part is to borrow a different adapter which is known to be proper.

I will just buy a new one.

Do you have any recommendations for Wi-Fi adapters that will not cause this problem??

I just got a different blue screen message for the first time.

I think this time it said SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXEMPTION

Here is the log.

I strongly recommend that you a.sa.p. remove the Edimax AC600 Wireless LAN USB Adapter device.

Okay, in an update to this thread, I think I have solved the problem.

I did not buy a new wireless driver.

Instead I removed all components from my motherboard and gave them a thorough clean, including removing any dust from inside the fan on the graphics card, as well as re-inserting my RAM.

Since doing so, I have yet to get a BSOD.

Cheers,
Daniel
