The reset to factory settings stopped at 99%, saying it was unable to locate ordinal 1. I pressed enter 6 times and it went to its normal startup. As I am a very stubborn person, after doing the necessary updates, I reset again to factory settings because I felt that the other process failed to complete something and I wanted to make sure everything was ok. I hope doing it again after some minutes is no trouble.. after this is done, I will install all updates, windows 10 and update you if the my system got better.
[EDIT: I forgot to mention that I found a possible clue to what was really happening in my laptop. When I wanted to backup my important files into a pen drive, their size was very big so I put half of them, copied them to another computer (to a mac), and inserted the pen drive again in my toshiba to delete what was there and put the rest. The thing is, when I tried to delete, the following files were stopping me from doing it: desktop.ini and thumb database file. I googled this and found out that this was a case of a virus. So perhaps the virus that was in my pc went into my pen drive right after I inserted it. Luckily I copied that half that I mentioned into a mac, where window's malwares are not effective.]

Have you installed Windows 10 yet?

No desktop.ini and Thumbs.db is not a virus, they are system files that are required. The website you went into must have been all the fake websites like solvusoft etc, they are made for scamming.

Correct, desktop.ini contains the settings of the part where it is.
For every folder you can have different settings, with desktop.ini the folders remember it.
Thumbs.db has thumbnails from photo's and video's, the preview pictures you can see in explorer, so they can show really fast.

Such files are system files and are meant to boost your personal experience with Windows.

But, I never had to remove those files before, it was hard for me to delete them from my pen drive when I wanted to delete what was there. They were always recreating. And when I wanted to deleted some of them that I had already copied into my mac to see if anything happened, it warned me that they protected. But yes, you may be right, perhaps this was not a case of vírus, but I went to trusted portuguese/brazilian websites. Not so sure about the english ones, but the other ones I mentioned recommended to do the reset I did today. As this never happened to me, I thought it was something created by a possible vírus.
Well, I am still installing the necessary updates in Windows 8.1 so that after I can install Windows 10. The second reset I did to factory settings managed to complete and my pc is faster again, as well as the internet browser. But until I install Windows 10, I'll see if this manages to continue, as well as if any blue screens of death appears again. Thank you.

Those files are automatically recreated yes.
Every system file is protected to prevent unwanted removal actions that may harm your pc.

Hello axe0 and laith,

I did the reset to factory settings, my sistem was fast again. After, I installed windows 10, league of legends, mozilla firefox and now it is as slow as before. I am not getting BSOD's anymore, but when I play league of legends, I play it in slow motion, and the internet browser is slow again, and so my system is also getting slower.. I updated my graphics card to see if it would solve the problem, but it still remains.. And I don't believe this is because of windows 10, because 3 days ago, before I ran furmark, my system was fast, but after 5 minutes it went slow.. The only plausible reason seemed to be a malware/virus infection, but now that I did a reset I don't know anymore, I bought this laptop last december, it should be working fine.
I know this isn't a bsod problem anymore, but do you have any suggestions please? My ram can't possibly be dead.. maybe it's gpu?

Please download and install Malwarebytes free (Uncheck trial version in the installation process)
Please run a threat scan with Malwarebytes, a full scan with your AV, scan your system with Adwcleaner and Kaspersky TTDSKiller.

Outside of Furmark and a reset, it sounds like an infection.

I've installed the programs you suggested, they found no threats. Today I've been searching a lot about what is going on with my pc, I managed to increase a bit the perfomance by disabling 'Super Fetch', according to what I've been reading in a reliable forum website. Also, I installed an antivirus called HouseCall by Trend Micro, it found 1 threat, but it was an app that came with windows, 'Symbaloo', so it was a false positive, but I still uninstalled it.
The reason why I disabled Super Fetch was because the file 'system' was consuming a lot of my disk and memory, and it still is, but much less. Besides that, the programs I use are still consuming a lot my memory and disk ONLY, and my pc is still slow in perfomance.
Also, I tried to do a full scan with Windows defender (I disabled avast antivirus shields), but I got the following error: 0x8007139f. I searched about it online and found out that people who have been having this problem reported that their pc's are also very slow, like mine.
My laptop is still under warranty, I don't know if I can deliver this one and get a new one based in this kind of problem but if I can't fix this, I'll try it out.

Some minutes ago I was in my laptop and from one moment to another it got extremely slow, even slower than before. I had to restart it, and now the performance is at its usual condition.
I just updated my specs with my hard drive. Do you want me to send you a screenshot of my disk usage in task manager with League of legends and mozilla firefox open?

According to tests and lots of reviews it removes rootkits

Good evening,
I had already done a scan with TDSSKiller and it detected no threat, but I chose to do it again just in case, and it also found no threat. I haven't ran SeaTools, but something weird happened. Yesterday I went to the shopping mall where I bought the laptop and they said for me to go to a proper toshiba store (which I didn't know there was here). Today I was about to go there but when I turned my pc on again, it was as fast as before I ran furmark. And it still is, but the sound is different. Perhaps with a lower quality, but different, still audible. The internet browser is fast again, but when I play league of legends I still play in slow motion, however a bit less slower. And I am only seeing these results in my pc after I unplug the power cable (after I turned off my pc), and plugging it again. I haven't checked its perfomance without having to unplug the power cable.
I read SeaTools instructions and I have one question. Can it damage my hard drive? Because they recommend to do a back up of our important files, and they also say that that backup will be important in case my hard drive needs to repaired and fails to. Have a good day.

No SeaTools can't damage your harddrive, it only checks the drive. They listed that you should backup your data before SeaTools because you should do that even when running chkdsk, always backup your data.

Sorry for just replying now after 3 weeks, but I spent that time trying to find a store here in portugal to repair my pc, and I found a toshiba one. After 1 week, they now sent me an email saying it was software conflict and are charging a lot for having just done a system restore. I will talk with them, but I just wanted to update you.
