UPDATE:
I thought it relevant that you know I just installed a new 8150 8Core AMD FX CPU.

Installation went fine and my motherboard is capable of handling such a CPU.

My system specs:
Nvidia Geforce GTX 570

and my mother board is a Gigabyte GA-870A-USB3 AMD 870 DDR3 ATX Motherboard - Socket AM3 GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket AM3+ - GA-870A-USB3 (rev. 3.1)

Hi,
Tried to run 'Verifier' but it requested that I allow the PC to restart.

So I shut down and restarted.
I noticed that the loading of the OS was taking some time and when I was actually able to log in it was running slow.

Once I'd logged in it was taking a lot longer than usual to load and in about 15seconds it Blue screened.
I am not unable to use Windows7 because it keeps blue screening.

I'm on the same pc but that's because I have windows XP installed on my secondary HDD in case my main HDD died or if there was a problem with Windows7.
Looks like I made the right call huh? :P

Anyway, will re-install windows7 and see just what the hell is going on. Also in contact with AMD because I had absolutely NO issues until I installed the new CPU.

This is a confusing one for me, I've checked my PSU and it's fine. (Corsair GS700 700w)
