BSOD Playing games from steam, code 101

I got this pc a few months ago. I have been able to play blizzard games (WoW and Diablo) fine but whenever I try to play a game I have downloaded from steam (total war shogun 2 and Borderlands 2) I get a BSOD code 101
I am not very pc savvy so if the explanation on how to fix this could be as detailed and easy to follow as possible that would be appreciated.

Ok, so this is very likely to be a hardware issue. I once had this problem my self, my fix was to clean out the dust. Even though there was none veiwable i took a vacuum and cleaned it. It worked. Now check for dust, dirt etcc. Next if you have overclocked STOP and revert. Follow the posted link above it has all of the needed information. And the most likely solution to your issue. If you are still having problems, i suggest lowering v-core. This do not touch for now though.

And i also suggest running these to help diagnose hardware for any issues.

If you don't see any crazy glitches or distortion on the screen, The test most likely passed.
