[mobo issue...oh my...] BSOD playing Hearthstone
[Update post 2] Being a noob to all this, I was not clear as to how important the mobo was. After digging around, I found a command prompt. Turns out the motherboard is a Foxconn 2A8C. Alarmed at what I read about this make/model, I cracked the case to find my worst suspicions confirmed: right next to his little wheel, the hamster lay dead. Rest in peace little guy...
[Update post 1] After reading the instructions for posting again, I realized my PC was not collecting the data needed. Accordingly, I set up a reg dump and recreated the problem. Hopefully, the zip file attached to this post contains the data required to diagnose/debug the issue
