I was just playing a game of League when suddenly I noticed that all sound was gone except the music. At first I didnt really think much of it, however a few minutes later my game suddenly froze but I was still able to move my mouse around. shortly after that the BSOD appeared. When I tried to restart my pc I got this message: "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" so I restarted my pc and again this message appeared. Then I turned of my pc and waited for about 10 minutes when starting my pc again I just booted like normal and no weird messages.

I looked if the pc made a dumbfile, but sadly enough it didn't I could only find one from about a year ago.

I searched on the internet to see if I could find a solution, but so far I didn't find anything which helped me.
I have pasted a picture of the BSOD and a Zip file containing some information about my PC.

looking forward to your repsonses and thanks for the efford.

There is only one crash dump in the uploaded zip, which is of 26/05/2014. So it will not reflect the present situation.

Anyway, from the screenshot it is a stop 0x7A BSOD. Generally stop 0x7A issues are storage related; and the screen shows the failing driver is NTFS.sys, which is related to the storage discs.

Test your HDD using Seatools. Take both teh short test and the long test. Let us know the results.

Hi first of thanks for your help already, now the tests.
I tested my HDD using the tool u said and I did all the tests the program provided, the resulst from every single test was a pass and no error messages or anything like that appeared.

I also did some more reasearch on the internet and I found out that this error can also happen when your ram sticks aren't properly working anymore, could this be the case here too?

I dont have a ground to say anything in this line, based on the image that you supplied. The error message in this case is ..... see the red lines in the code box ...
Code:
KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR (7a)
The requested page of kernel data could not be read in. [COLOR=Red] Typically caused by
a bad block in the paging file or disk controller error.[/COLOR] Also see
 KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR.
 [COLOR=Red]If the error status[/COLOR] is 0x[B][COLOR=Red]C000000E[/COLOR][/B], 0xC000009C, 0xC000009D or 0xC0000185,
[COLOR=Red]it means the disk subsystem has experienced a failure.[/COLOR]
If the error status is 0xC000009A, then it means the request failed because
a filesystem failed to make forward progress.
So based on the BSOD screen (I did not have a crash dump to check more) I cannot say it anything more than a disc related issue.

But as you have a doubt, you may test the RAM. Test your RAM modules for possible errors.Run memtest86+ for at least 8 consecutive passes.

If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

Anyway, some other guy also reported an exactly same issue after getting some updates of LoL.

So I just finished testing after doing 16 passes, no erros whatsoever. I'm completely clue less of what to do now. Also I noticed that my CPU Temperature is 72 C , is this normal or could it also be that my pc is just overheating?

so I installed speccy and just did some usual stuff on my pc except gaming and it stayed around the temperature of 50 C (right part of the screenschot). However when I played a game of League (to force the crash and see how high the tmperature would go) it went all the way up to a maximum of 75 C (left part of the screenshot, when I just started the game).

Speccy snapshot for more info: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/jNQjTmb1XTBDwbydS3iuRDJ

also a new minidump still still hasn't been created after all the (partially forced) crashes that happened.

Apparently your computer is tending to overheat. Even the HDD is overheating beyond the tolerance limit, which might be the cause of our stop 0x7A BSOD.
Dismantle the computer. Clean the inside very carefully using compressed air. Clean all the air vents and fan grills so that it can blow the hot air out efficiently. Make it sure that the case fans are working properly.

Also, apply new thermal paste to the heatsneak. That would be very vital.

Let us know the situation after doing these.

so I just cleaned my pc of dirt and dust today and it lowered the average temperature of my PC part by about 15 C, but I haven't applied new thermal paste to the cpu. Also I havent tested if it still crashes when I play league, but I had some trouble with my PC not detecting my HDD after I cleaned it so I opened it again and I pressed some of the wires so they would be attached better, this solved it. However im scared now of not being able to start up my PC again because it doesn't detect my HDD so im first going to make a backup of my pc before doing any testing, Thanks for the help if it fixed it! (ill leave the thred open for now till I did some testing again)

If the PC does not detect the HDD again, attach the HDD with the other unused SATA ports on the motherboard .... use new SATA cables.

It is a storage related issue from the very beginning.

Hey, I finshed playing a game of League without any erros, no crashes whatsoever! The average temperature was about 15 C lower, so the problem was probaly that my PC was overheating. Anyway thanks for the support!
