BSOD playing League of Legends, Using "GeForce Experience" program

Hello,

I started getting a BSOD 2 days ago when playing league of legends. I thought it was a driver issue so I tried using the "GeForce Experience" program to try and update my Nvidia GeForce GT 555M driver but doing so also resulted in a BSOD.

I have tried reinstalling the graphics driver (after a clean uninstall) to both an older version and the most updated version, but that did not help either.

I'm fretting that this might be a hardware issue but I have no way to know for certain because I don't know how to even access it (I have a Clevo W150HR).

Debugging Details:

A TDR error is a time delay and response error. That usually happens on a laptop with switchable graphics ( Optimus for Nvidia). As a general rule, you will have much better luck downloading drivers from your OEM Manufacturer. Most of them alter the drivers to work the way they built the laptop to work which means drivers from Nvidia, or anywhere else will not work right on your laptop. Once you put your system specs under 'My System Specs' in the lower left of your last post, I may be able to offer more help.

I just updated my system specs so please let me know how I should continue from here.

Please go to where you bought your laptop from. They should maintain a list of drivers. Download the Graphics driver for your Nvidia card. Once that is completed, uninstall the Nvidia Graphics driver and install the one you just downloaded. See if that helps any.

I just finished doing a clean install of the Nvidia driver using the driver from the manufacturer's website. After installing and restarting, when trying to access an option in the Nvidia Control Panel, I was hit with another blue screen which leads me to believe that the fix didn't work.

Please post a screen capture OF hwmonitor after clicking the sensor option. I would like to see the GPU and CPU temps. Here is my HW Monitor after watching youtube videos and streaming video games. I tried playing video games but it caused me to have a BSOD with the same error. I can try to snap a picture of the BSOD when it happens again for further info.

Please click start and type Device manager in the search box and click the device manager entry that appears, go to Display Adaptors, expand it by clicking the small triangle to the left of it and tell me what is listed.

Also, please open an elevated command prompt ( click start, type cmd in the search box, right click on the cmd entry and select run as administrator) in the black box that opens, copy/paste sfc /scannow. If you decide to type it, notice the space between the sfc and the /. It is a system file checker which will scan your system files and attempt to correct any missing or corrupt files. What we want are the results to say windows found no integrity violations. If it says files were found but could not be repaired, close the box, reboot and run it again, after opening the administrative command prompt. You may have to reboot and run it three times for it to repair all system files. If it can't repair them after 3 reboots, let us know.

The display adapters that are listed in my device manager are Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000 and NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M.

I ran the sfc /scannow 4 times (rebooting in between each trial) and I kept receiving "found courrupt files but was unable to fix some of them" in response.

Please go to Windows Update and click on Installed updates and see if you have KB3022345 and KB3068708. If you find them, uninstall them (http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/24373-windows-update-uninstall-update.html), then reboot and run the sfc scan again.

I uninstalled those particular files, rebooted, and then ran the sfc /scannow. It said that there were no integrity violations. I thought the problem was finally resolved so I tried playing a game and was greeted by another BSOD.

In the meantime, get a program that will monitor your CPU and GPU temps. The Hardware Monitor screenshot you displayed showed tour CPU temps, but didn't show the GPU temp that I could see.
