Hello,

Just recently, this month (April) to be specific, there has been numerous of blue screen error that occurred to my laptop. The message was short though and I remembered exactly what it says :

*** Hardware Malfunction
Call your hardware vendor for support
*** The system has halted ***

This happens as recently as yesterday again, when I was playing League of Legends and I notice that the error message was the same that I got when I was playing Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 last 2 weeks or so. Could it be that the games that I played is the cause of this? Cause every time when BSOD occurs, it is when or after I was/finished playing a game. Any ideas, advices, solutions? Do tell.

I've attached the zip file from SF Diagnostic Tool.

MSINFO32:
Please go to Start and type in "msinfo32.exe" (without the quotes) and press Enter (you can also press Win and R at the same time to open the Run dialog - then type in msinfo32.exe and press Enter)
Save the report as an .nfo file, then zip up the .nfo file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
Also, save a copy as a .txt file and include it also (it's much more difficult to read, but we have greater success in getting the info from it).

If you're having difficulties with the format, please open an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt and type "msinfo32 /nfo C:\Users\Public\Desktop\TEST.NFO" (without the quotes) and press Enter. Then navigate to the C:\Users\Public\Desktop directory to retrieve the TEST.NFO file. If you have difficulties with making this work, please post back.
  • Heat:
Only use the laptop on a hard surface with nothing blocking any of the vents.

Use a laptop cooling pad if possible

Blow out all vents with canned air (DO NOT use a vacuum cleaner or an air compressor, they can damage the components).

Ensure that the fan comes on and is blowing air out of the vent (may not happen at startup, but should happen after using it for a while).
  • For monitoring heat of the system, use Speccy or HWMonitor:

  • Keep less stuff at the start-up. Only anti-virus, this helps avoid driver conflicts and improves time to log in to windows.

   Note
Pay close attention to part 3 of the tutorial in order to rule the faulty RAM stick out.

   Tip
Do this test overnight, before going to bed.
