Hi I am currently having problems with the BSOD. Windows seems to think it is a memory problem, but every time I run the windows memory diagnostic tool it doesn't find any problems. The BSOD occurs most frequently while playing games on steam, however it has happened at random. I don't have the error code that pops up during the BSOD but I will try to get it if I see it during a crash again. Sorry I am a bit of a computer novice, but I have included the .zip file that is requested. Batman Arkham Asylum gave me a notice once before a BSOD that said I was out of virtual memory, which I thought was related to RAM. I currently have 8gb of RAM.

I have adjusted the sticks of RAM on my motherboard just to see if it was a bad port after the BSOD started, but that did nothing. I would like to know if it is indeed a memory problem, and how to fix it. Or at the very least know what is causing the problem.

Thanks.

From your dump reports the problem seems to be due to a bad driver or a hardware problem, which includes memory. Based upon your post, memory will be the place to start. Take this test for 8 passes. Then test each stick in a good slot for 6 passes each.

I have started the tests and have completed two so far with no errors being found. Once I finish the tests I will make another post. The problem has gotten worse because now I can only boot my computer in safe mode. The last time I attempted to boot normally my PC got to the desktop of windows then my PC display.went black and the PC made a screeching noise. Sorry for any grammar mistakes but I have to use my android phone to post here.

I ran the memory test with both sticks in all 8 times and I didn't get a single error. However, twice while running the tests I had the screen become a mess of text. I took a photo with my cell phone and attached it to this post. I am now starting to test each stick individually even though I still don't know if it is a motherboard issue or a RAM stick issue.

If you fail the test you will be told how many errors you had.
