So for the a long time now I've been experiencing my computer freezing and frequent BSODs. I was hoping someone on here could help me out with my problem.

I am currently running Windows 7 32-bit, but XP was originally installed on the system. My computers age is about 1 year and 4 months (its an eee pc 1000ha) and I believe I installed Windows 7 back in December of 2009.

Also I have used Device Verifier Manager and it gives me the BSOD when I verify the acpi.sys driver.

And I have attached the zip file with all the required items.

Hi,

ASUSACPI.sys was blamed in 1 DMP, it is ASUS ACPI Device Driver is a driver file from company ASUSTeK Computer Inc. In looking through your driver, I can see it's out of date, please update it.
Code:
ASUSACPI ASUSACPI.sys Tue Apr 08 14:59:27 2008 (47FB25DF)
Please visit this link: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support- download_item_mkt to get the newest version of it.

Code:
BugCheck 1000008E, {c0000005, 88ce0018, 8e5dea94, 0}

Probably caused by : NETIO.SYS ( NETIO!NsipGetNmpContext+6d )

Just a drive by (I have not analyzed the dmps). TTran is of course correct sometimes when NETIO.sys is indicated it can be caused by a firewall or av app.

I do wonder if XP was originally installed isnt the computer older than a year and a few months?
