Uninstall McAfee Using McAfee Removal Tool.
Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.
Download, install and update those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

Let us know the results.

Your computer, your decision. I just can say that McAfee is the topmost crapware ever possible and it causes thousands of BSODs.

Your BSODs are caused by McAfee. If you remove it, the BSODs are expected to be stopped. And that is why it is to be removed. I have nothing to say about the money. I can analyze the data, find out the causes of BSODs and suggest the required actions.

If you browse through the threads you will see that there are plenty of BSODs caused by the same thing .... and only removing McAfee solved those issues.
