Hi,

I've had my Dell computer for about a year now and repeatedly get BSOD after working on my computer for several hours. Here are my computer specs:

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T6500 @2.10GHz 2.10GHz
RAM: 4.00 GB
64 Bit Operating System

As I'm quite ignorant about computers, I'm not sure what other info you might need to diagnose the problem.

Any help would be highly appreciated!

Thanks!

This crash was caused by pool_corruption (memory). I would download a 3rd party app called memtestx86, burn it to cd, then run it for at least 7 passes.

Code:
Built by: 7600.16539.amd64fre.win7_gdr.100226-1909

Hi Ken,

I downloaded memtestx86 to a disk and am not sure what to do next. How do I go about running the app? It looks like there are several files to choose from...

Thanks!

You need to burn it to a disk.

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 passes.
Hope this helps you. :)
