Hello

I am new here. My pc specs should be in my profile.

Let me begin by saying hello to everyone. I would like to say that my system is used by myself only. Secondly I started getting BSOD errors now I was going to upload them but now the computer wont even boot into windows. I did try safe mde and that did work once. After another restart the computer beeped alot. Looking at my Mobos manuel it says that alot of short beeps can be one of two things.

1. Power problem. I purchased my Coolermaster Silent Pro 600watt between january-march of this year. That PSU should be more then enough to run my computer. I dont overclock and everything runs at stock.

2. My graphics card is not properly put in place. I have taken it out tonight and placed it back in to no avail however the beeps I experienced only once never have came back.

When trying to boot, somtimes it will boot and somtimes it will just sit at the screen after the initial beep. It will sit on the screen of my Mobo.

Now that is the backstory. Up until this point it was running the repair utility instead of starting windows normally. It just finished by saying that startup repair cannot repair this computer automatically. The details are as follows

Problem Event Name: StartupRepairOffline
Problem Signature01: 6.1.7600.16385
Problem Signature02: 6.1.7600.16385
Provlem Signature03: Unknown
Problem Signature04: 52
Problem Signature05: Autofailure
Problem Signature06: 1
Problem Signature07: 0x1e
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1033

I am going to try and reboot right now to see if I can upload the Mini dump files for you guys. If the above didnt help at all its cool I just am trying to report all the information I can to help you guys undersand what is going on.

I only play World of Warcraft and battlefield 2 on this computer and soon Stacraft 2. The only new hardware I got for my computer is my Razer Megalodon Headset and I did unplug it and still got BSOD errors so I know thats not it. Thanks in Advance and I will do alot more to get more information to you as quick as possible. Again thank you.

There are no memory dumps in the attachment. Please do the following:
Upload Dump Files:
Please go to C:\Windows\Minidump and zip up the contents of the folder. Then upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
Left click on the first minidump file.
Hold down the "Shift" key and left click on the last minidump file.
Right click on the blue highlighted area and select "Send to"
Select "Compressed (zipped) folder" and note where the folder is saved.
Upload that .zip file with your next post.

If you have issues with "Access Denied" errors, try copying the files to your desktop and zipping them up from there. If it still won't let you zip them up, post back for further advice.

If you don't have anything in that folder, please check in C:\Windows for a file named MEMORY.DMP. If you find it, zip it up and upload it to a free file hosting service . I recommend Windows Live SkyDrive - http://skydrive.live.com or another free, file-hosting service. Then post the link to it in your topic so that we can download it.

Then, follow the directions here to set your system for Minidumps (much smaller than the MEMORY.DMP file): Set MiniDump

There are 7 different BSOD's listed in the MSINFO32 report - the most common being a STOP 0x117 error (more info on that here: BSOD Index

These errors are very similar to the STOP 0x116 errors - and I'd suggest that you use the troubleshooting guide here: http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lo...op-0x116-video_tdr_error-troubleshooting.html

If I may add I am going to try and get the newest video card drivers from nvidia. I tryed before and uninstalled the drivers I had. Upon trying to install the new drivers after I uninstalled the old ones, The driver said that I didnt have any hardware. I had to then restart my computer and windows 7 installed the GTS 250 driver for me. This has not helped me in my situation and I do hope that you guys can help me with getting this rig fixed.

Now, When I was getting BSOD problems before, I was told to run memtest. I ran memtest on each ram stick with 5 passes each. No errors.

The first stick I ran 5 passes in each memory slot again with no errors that came up. I then ran the test with 5 passes on each stick in the first slot and no errors came up so I dont believe my memory is bad.

My computer booted just fine this morning and now I am just sitting here :). I am looking at the new drivers for my graphics card but it has gotten negative reviews.

Please follow the suggestions in this thread: http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lo...op-0x116-video_tdr_error-troubleshooting.html

It appears that you're having issues with your video card - so I'd:
- check to make sure it has enough power (all plugs plugged in)
- that it's properly seated in it's slot
- that the fan is working
- that there's no dust/dirt blocking the vents on the video card's cooler
- that the case has good airflow, so that air can get at the video card

Then point a house fan at the video card and see if that lessens the problems. Also, see if you have less problems when the system is shut off overnight.

Please try this free diagnostic:
FurMark download site: FurMark: Graphics Card Stability and Stress Test, OpenGL Benchmark and GPU Temperature | oZone3D.Net
FurMark Setup:
- If you have more than one GPU, select Multi-GPU during setup
- In the Run mode box, select "Stability Test" and "Log GPU Temperature"
Click "Go" to start the test
- Run the test until the GPU temperature maxes out - or until you start having problems (whichever comes first).
- Click "Quit" to exit

If none of that helps, please try another video card to see if it's a card problem. If you can't borrow one, please be sure to purchase one that you can return (if necessary).

I downloaded the program and ran it. I let my video card get up to 80c before stopping the program.

However while this was running, I had another program running called Xtreme tuner running and it showed a maximum temp of 69c at the end.

So I dont know which one was right.

However, I did take out my gaphics card last night, blew off any dust and replaced it correctly.

The graphics card is only a month old if that so I doubt its the problem. I have an HAF922 case with 3, 200mm fans and 2 120mm fans. I know I have well enough fans and air flow to keep my system cool.

When looking for a new PSU, I picked the Coolermaster Silent Pro 600 watt to make sure I had enough power to run my system. I have enough and the 6 pronged cord is plugged in correctly into my GPU.

Still no BSOD so here is to hoping updating my graphics and chipset driver worked.

However I am still getting a few things in my even viewer.

Event ID 3 Kernal-event Tracking
Session "Microsoft Security Essentials OOBE" stopped due to the following error: 0xC000000D

Event ID 11 Wininit
Custom dynamic link libraries are being loaded for every application. The system administrator should review the list of libraries to ensure they are related to trusted applications.

Event ID 4001 W-LAN autoconfig
WLAN AutoConfig service has successfully stopped.

I would love to get rid of these

Note that these are not Bugchecks so no minidump is being made when I start my computer. However these are the three things that come up in event viewer upon boot.
