BSOD Problems

I had BSOD back in November, I reformatted and havnt had a problem since. But then in the last week I have had it happen twice. Last time it was clearly a driver problem mixed with some other stuff, but this time I cannot figure out what is causing it. Both times it happened I was doing light duty stuff, instant messaging and Zune software.

If someone could take a look at the mini-dump and point me in the right direction that would be great.

Oh yea I'm running Win7 64bit on a Dell Inpirion 1525 2.4 dual core, 4gb mem, on board graphics

Only one BSOD included. If this post doesn't solve your problem, please zip up and upload all of the memory dump files.

The dump file points to the Windows kernel. If it was the kernel, you'd have many more problems other than the occasional BSOD. This is gonna require some troubleshooting. More info on the BSOD: BSOD Index

Also, Please update or remove these older drivers that were loaded at the time of the crash. Don't use Windows Update or the Update drivers function of Device Manager. Please use the following instructions to locate the most current drivers:

How To Find Updated Drivers:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.

If this doesn't stop the BSOD's please post back with the next one and we'll see what other tests that we can run.
