Hello,

My config:
- Asus P5K Pro
- C2Q Q6600
- Gigabyte GeForce GT
- RAM GEIL Black Dragon GB24GB6400C4QC - 2GB x 4 QC Kit

- Windows 7 Home Premium x64 - Full Retail, Clean, New install.
(Install with only one 2GB stick of memory. Install crashes with more...)
MemTest 7 pass (~18h) without errors and Windows Memory Diagnostic witout errors.

Windows 7 - random blue screans (max 10min. after start)
Sometimes ntfs.sys, sometimes SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION and APC_INDEX_MISMATCH

Now with 6GB of RAM - still the same problem.

PerfMon in polish - sorry :(

(Other hardware: PCI soundcard M-audio Audiophile 2496 and PCI-e UAD-2 Quad DSP Card. 450W PSU)

Please, Help!
Sorry for my english ;)

Hello,

Start by updating this outdated driver:
Code:
ASACPI.sys Sun Mar 27 22:30:36 2005 (42476C4C)
That one has known compatibility problems with Windows 7. You can update it by installing the ATK0110 driver from the utilities section here: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support- LE&os=30&SLanguage=en-us

Could you run driver verifier?

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/101379-driver-verifier-enable-disable.html

Just a guess, run a hard drive diagnostic with SeaTools. Run the Short and Long DST tests.

Thanks for your reply

ATK0110 installed, nothing changed.

On list of drivers (driver veriefier) are only drivers from Microsoft, SoundCard+UAD, Comodo (firewall and antivirus).
When I turned off everything except Microsoft and amdxata.sys, and secdrv.sys, blue screen continued to appear.

Hard drive passed a short test, but not the long one - blue screen appears too fast.

I decided to replace RAM by a 3x 1gb Kingstone - and computer is now running an hour without a BSOD.
I'll check the memory with music programs that require support for large amounts of RAM.
But I realy need that 8GB :(
