Hello!
Around Christmas time I purchased a brand new Acer Aspire 7560 laptop.
Since the very first day I bought it, I began to experience BSOD errors while casually doing things such as browsing photos on Facebook, or just plain using my laptop.

Recently though, these crashes haver been occurring more and more often, and I do not know how to prevent them from happening! It's at the point where it will do it many times a day, up to six times an hour. It's very frustrating, and I have the feeling that it may be having an effect on parts of my computer, causing it to slow down, etc.
From what I've read in the dump reports, all of the BSOD errors seem to be related to the ntoskrnl.exe file.

When it crashes, the screen goes into almost rectangular tears from the left side of the screen to the other.

I am not the greatest with computers, but I do know my basic way around them. Here are some of my system specs:

System Hardware Age: Six months
Age of OS Installation: Six months. It came pre-installed. I don't have a Windows 7 installation disk.
System Manufacturer: Acer Aspire 7560 Laptop
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 6620G
Display: Generic PnP Monitor, 17.3" HD+ LED LCD
Resolution: 1600 x 900
Hard Drive: 640 GB HDD
Mouse: Razer Naga
Internet Speed: Average (2.5mbps - 5mbps)
Other Info: AMD Quad Core Processor AB-3500M
6 GB DDR3 Memory Installed (DDR3 PC3-10600, DDR3 PC3-8500, DDR3 (non-ECC))

Also, I am currently using Norton Internet Security 2012 for virus protection.

I've attached a system health report and my dump files into a .zip folder.

Hello Vmoppy. Welcome to Seven Forums. The BCCodes presented suggest possible memory corruption. Please follow this tutorial. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html You should let the test run over night. If you get any error codes, pull all but one stick and test in each lane. Take note of the behavior while doing so.

Also, your BIOS may need to be updated. Acer Support: Downloads & Support Documents - Notebook / Aspire / Aspire 7560

Code:
AlcoholAutomount "c:\program files (x86)\alcohol soft\alcohol 120\axautomntsrv.exe" -automount Brook-PC\Brook HKU\S-1-5-21-966909496-1433074955-2235090737-1000\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Please remove Alcohol. It is known to cause issues.

You also have both McAffee family protection and Norton Internet Security installed. Please remove both, at least for testing and install Microsoft Security Essentials.

Razer Mice can be problematic, please remove and replace with a generic mouse for now.

Code:
Start Menu\Programs\AVG PC TuneUp 10.0.0.27 PreCracked Brook-PC\Brook:Start Menu\Programs\AVG PC TuneUp 10.0.0.27 PreCracked Brook-PC\Brook
Also delete. And with that, download and install Malwarebytes, the free version(do not start free trial). Run a full scan on all user accounts. Also, run a full scan with Microsoft Security Essentials.

I recently did what you instructed me to do, and I experienced another BSOD crash with an error that said, "system_service_exception". I attached the log of the incident to this post! Hopefully someone can further look into it!

Also, I downloaded Memtest86+ just now and I will be running the scan overnight! I will post in the morning and give you an update on what came up!

Vmoppy, yes, run Memtest86+. If you get any errors, stop the test, remove all but one stick of RAM and retest. If you get errors with the single stick, put it in the next slot. If you get errors again, stop and move to the next slot. Do this until you have tested all RAM in all slots, taking note of behavior each time. If you have even ONE error, it is too many.

Post back results.

James

Yes, both of my RAM sticks had errors in every slot.
Out of curiosity, I ran the entire Memtest scan overnight.
When I woke up eight hour later it was still working on the first stick. On the fifth pass it discovered 677,000 errors.
I'm going to make the assumption that that pretty much means that my RAM stick is basically a piece of crap toasted, huh?

You need to replace the RAM, yes, it's no good if it got errors on all slots.

After you get the new RAM, we can try and see what we can do about any remaining errors. Here is a recommendation for RAM, be sure if you don't get this, you get something that is 100% compatible with your system. Be sure to remove the battery and press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to remove residual power from the system before replacing the RAM.

James

Alright!
I'll order them today when I get the chance!
I'll post here again in about a week after I replace my RAM! This will fix my BSoD error most likely, correct?

Also, I continued to run my scan even after I woke up. I'm just about to end it now.
It's currently been running for eight and a half hour, is on the fifth pass out of seven, and has uncovered 811,520 errors.
From the point of view of someone who is experienced with this type of thing exactly how messed up is this particular RAM stick? It makes me angry because this is the basic stock RAM that I got when purchasing the laptop.

Well, it is bad. When it comes to RAM, any errors, whatsoever, is really bad.

You may have some more issues after replacing the RAM. We have to get the RAM issue resolved first though. Hopefully there is not anymore hardware related issues and it will be just a process of correcting errors.

James
