Update :)

it is either the blue screen of death or all my applications get a "critical error", explorer shutdowns and i am left staring at my desktop backround. Also i dismissed overheating problems, everything runs pretty cool 25-30C.

Hi klemka.

There is no crash dump in the zip that you uploaded. But your post gives us some info.
Code:
BCP2:	FFFFFFFF[COLOR=Red]C000000E[/COLOR]
The parameter 2 is the I/O error status code. And ..... the explanation says .....
Code:
KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR (7a)
The requested page of kernel data could not be read in. [COLOR=Red]Typically caused by
a bad block in the paging file or disk controller error[/COLOR]. Also see
 KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR.
 [COLOR=Red]If the error status is 0xC000000E[/COLOR], 0xC000009C, 0xC000009D or 0xC0000185,
[COLOR=Red]it means the disk subsystem has experienced a failure[/COLOR].
If the error status is 0xC000009A, then it means the request failed because
a filesystem failed to make forward progress.
Test your HDD using Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows.

Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known BSOD causer. Uninstall Daemon Tools at first. Then download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

  • Double click to open it.
  • Click this button only:
  • 2012-12-13_224441.jpg
  • If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.
Let us know the results.

I/O Status.status 0xC00000C0: STATUS_DEVICE_DOES_NOT_EXIST. That means, "This device does not exist." During the use of explorer. So the question is, which device it is? Is it missing the proper driver?

It may be occurred due to loose connection, too (+ a lot of other reasons, including a motherboard corruption).

After having the virus check, can you attempt to a complete dismantle and re-seat of the computer?

Both scans found nothing. Have opened the case and fiddled with the hard drive wiring. Crashes have seemed to stop. As soon as i have one i will reassemble the PC.

So, computer still crashed. Did a rebuild, placed the graphics card in another slot, changed wiring to the harddrive. Connecting hdd to mb slot 0/1, had no effect (no bootable device, although i did not check via bios if anything showed up in the hdd setup) guess they are broken/defected ? After connecting to slot 3 everything booted fine, after an evenings use everything seemed in oder, left computer on over night to see if it would crash. Came today from work everything seems in perfect condition, maybe i should leave it on for the night with a stress test on? Hope this is the end of my problems.... Or is it >:) Thanks for your help Arc.
