Have had BSOD's in the past, but it seems like it is happening more often. I used to play games like Need For Speed Most Wanted, and I wouldn't have an issue. Now I will just be watching a Plex on my computer and I'll get a random BSOD. I don't know much of anything about BIOS, so I've never touched them for fear of messing up my PC even more. PC was custom built (not by me) around 5 or more years ago.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Thank You, Peter!

Check your operating memory. RAM is the main cause of BSOD. You should get your RAM sticks out of your computer ,get them out of dust if they're dirty and get them back right in the slots, this may fix the problem, good luck !
