Hello, :)

I recently build a new system and the following problems occur since this system was build. The only parts that i have not replaced are the ocz SSD PCIE and the other harddrives. (you can find my new specs in my profile)

Im having trouble with BSOD's randomly like once or twice a day.
It started with the iastor.sys which i think i fixed by updating the driver for intel mass storage ullitiy.
But now it continues with ntoskrnl.exe.
I have tried Reinstalling windows with no luck.

I have attached the system health report + the bsod info as instructed on the forum.
Im using windows life essentials as virus scanner.
Could anybody shed some light on this case ?

Kind Regards,
Wesley762

The only possible reason I see for the crashes are a conflict in controller drivers. You have ASMedia drivers and Intel drivers installed for your hard disk controllers. Try removing the Intel drivers completely from the system and letting Windows decide if any drivers need to be installed.

  1. Click Start Menu
  2. Right Click My Computer/Computer
  3. Click Manage
  4. Click Device Manager from the list on the left
  5. Expand IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers
  6. Right click the Intel device
  7. Click Uninstall (do not click OK in the dialog box that pops up after hitting Uninstall)
  8. Put a tick in Delete driver software for this device (if this option is available, otherwise just hit OK) and hit OK
  9. Restart your computer.
  10. Let Windows install the drivers for your hard disk controller.

Alternatively:
  1. Login as an adminstrative user.
  2. Click Start Menu
  3. Click Control Panel
  4. Click Hardware and Sound
  5. Click Device Manager (the last link under Devices and Printers)
  6. Expand IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers
  7. Right click the Intel device
  8. Click Uninstall (do not click OK in the dialog box that pops up after hitting Uninstall)
  9. Put a tick in Delete driver software for this device (if this option is available, otherwise just hit OK) and hit OK
  10. Restart your computer.
  11. Let Windows install the drivers for your hard disk controller.

Did you put a check in the box to delete the driver software for the device?
