BSOD random times all the time

Just recently upgraded everything but the HDD its self and now i have been getting bsod at random times.
From what i can find it seems to have something to do with ntoskrnl.exe but that is about all i can figure out.

Hi and welcome to the forums,

Firstly please install Windows Service Pack 1 as it will increase system stability.
Then once installed please run Windows Updates and install all the latest updates.

Once completed run these tests.



SFC to check the integrity of all Windows 7 system files:

• Click on Start > Type in search cmd
  Right-click cmd after results are displayed and Run as Administrator
  Type SFC /scannow at the prompt
  (Note: There is a space between SFC and /scannow)

   Note

Select option two. If any problems are found, run the scan 3 times and immediately
reboot the computer after each scan.

Also run chkdsk in an elevated command prompt in order to check for file system errors and bad sectors on your HDD:

• Click on Start>Type in search cmd
• Right click cmd and Run as Administrator
• At the command prompt please type: chkdsk /f/r
  (There is a space between chkdsk and /f/r)

Take memtest. Run for 8 passes and test each stick in a know good slot for an additional 6 passes.

   Tip

Run memtest overnight

Post up any results.

So can i download that while in safe mode that is the only way that i can keep the system running for more then 15 minutes with out a blue screen

Hi,

If you boot into safe mode and select "Safe-mode with networking" then it shouldn't be a problem.
