Solved BSOD @ Random Times

Twice now have I returned to my computer to find the dreaded BSOD on it. This is a different make/model than what is posted on my bio/info...but here is the ?'s answered best I can...

Win 7 32 bit
HP Elite Book
Vista OEM originally -- upgraded to win7 Home
OS install is 6 months old
Age of system hardware --- IDK?!

Your analysis indicated Norton to be the cause of your crashes.

Symantec is a frequent cause of BSOD's.
I would remove and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials AT LEAST TO TEST.

Would Symantec Endpoint Protection be the culprit? That is the only thing that appears to be a Symantec product that is installed on this PC.
