I used to get a BSOD before I updated to a new hard drive, since my old hard drive pretty much went to crap. I upgraded to a Crucial M4 64GB for boot and a 1TB WD hard drive for storage. (That was 10 months ago) Everything was fine until about a week ago. I got a BSOD. I thought nothing of it, figured it wasn't going to happen again. Then they started happening more. So, I tried updating my Nvidia driver today. Every time I get to the part where I'm installing I get a BSOD. I also set it to do a clean install, so all my preferences are wiped and I can no longer use my 2nd monitor now, or my regular resolution. That's why I'm here. To fix this dang problem.
P.S. This BSOD also happens at random times while I'm searching the web and other crap.
All of your dump files are blaming this driver. This driver is related to the Marvel AHCI/RAID controller. Please try updating this driver: Marvell - Support

Thanks, I looked into the marvell drivers and installed them at first. Then I did some research on the Marvell sata ports versus the Intel sata ports. People were saying that the Marvell ports can cause problems. So, I uninstalled the marvel driver, disabled Marvell in my BIOS, and switched over to the Intel 6GB/s ports. Good news, no more BSOD. Bad news, substantially slower speeds. From everything I read it should have gone up in speed. Maybe I did something wrong, I might have to fiddle with this some more. Anyways, thanks for the help and making me realize I probably should of had my HDDs in the Intel ports the whole time. If you know anything about why my speeds are slower that would be great, or I might head off to the Hardware section.
EDIT: Looks like it only lasted for a couple minutes. My Read/Write speed is back up to its normal.
