Problem started about 2 or 3 weeks ago when I installed a new GPU (Geforce GTX500Ti). A couple of days after installation I started getting BSODs at least once if not multiple times a day. Also to include I did buy a new Power Supply, as the new GPU required at least 500w I bought a 600w. Called and spoke to HP which is the system maker and spoke to their tech support and did everything from all the hardware and software diagnostics to two full system recoveries restoring system back to factory defaults. Also took the new GPU out and replaced it with the older one I had and replaced hard drive and new copy of windows. Only thing that is not OEM in the machine now is the new power supply. Guys I am running out of options and I am close to just throwing this thing out the window as I am sure everyone has come close to once or twice while working with their machines. Please help attaching .DMP files and system check with post. Thanks in advance!
SYSTEM SPECS
Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit
AMD Athlon 2 X4 650 Processor 3.2 Ghz
8 Gbs RAM
Current GPU: Geforce 210
GPU I tried to install: Geforce GTX550Ti

I have had 3 more BSODs since this post because I ran driver verifier I got 2 1a error codes and a 3b error code for some reason it wont let me zip it and attach but blue screen viewer said that the drivers that caused it were afd.sys and ntfs.sys. Any help please?

Only 49 updates since SP1 - most systems have between 75 and 130 updates. Please visit Windows Update and get all available updates

One of the memory dumps blames your Network driver. Please visit the HP website and update it.

Your Lycosa (Razer) driver dates from 2008. These older drivers are known to cause BSOD's in Win7 systems. Please update it from the Razer support website

Your Microsoft Application Virtualization drivers date from 2009. Please update them to the latest, Win7 compatible drivers.

If all this doesn't fix things, try the following (just a hunch on my part).
Anti-Virus Removal:
Please do the following:
- download a free antivirus for testing purposes: Free AntiVirus
- uninstall the Norton from your system (you can reinstall it, if so desired, when we're done troubleshooting)
- remove any remnants of Norton using this free tool: http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20080710133834EN
- IMMEDIATELY install and update the free antivirus, then check to ensure that the Windows Firewall is turned on.
- check to see if this fixes the BSOD's
NOTE: NEVER run more than 1 anti-virus, firewall, Internet Security/Security Center application at the same time.

The following info is just FYI, I've already addressed the issues that I saw in the above paragraphs

- Further info on BSOD error messages available at: http://www.carrona.org/bsodindx.html
- Info on how to troubleshoot BSOD's (DRAFT): http://www.carrona.org/userbsod.html

Please update this driver or remove it from your system:
Driver Reference Table - DrvAgent64.SYS

Beyond that, we wait for the BSOD's caused by Driver Verifier

If the above steps don't stop the BSOD's, please zip up and upload any new memory dumps with your next post - and we'll see what we can figure out from there.

The following info is just FYI, I've already addressed the issues that I saw in the above paragraphs

We'll still have to wait for the results from Driver Verifier.

Razer Lycosa drivers dating from 2010 - I can't recall how updated they are. I also wonder about the hardware. Uninstalling the software and removing the Razer device from your system is the test for this one.

In most cases Driver Verifier will point out the Razer driver if it's to blame.

The following info is just FYI, I've already addressed the issues that I saw in the above paragraphs

Just woke up and driver verifier has been running now for about 20 hours with no BSODs...before when I did the memtest I took out one of the two 4Gb sticks of RAM I have installed and since then I have had no issues with BSODs... but just in case do you think something is wrong with the hardware aka my Lycosa keyboard and I should uninstall it and replace it?

Most of my advice is based on previous problems that we've observed. In the past I've seen a lot of issues with Lycosa drivers and keyboards - that doesn't mean that yours is a problem, just that you should keep an eye on it.

I'd tend to think that it's the stick of RAM (or the mobo/RAM combo) that was causing the problems.
Try turning Driver Verifier off and see if the system remains stable.
