BSOD Randomly. Done a full reinstall to no avail

Hey guys,
So i've had this build for a few months now. It is my first build. Here are the specs:
Intel Core i5-4690K
Zotac GTX 970
8GB Ram
Asus Z-97-A mobo
Windows 8.1 (now Windows 7)

When i'm playing big games such as BF4 or GTA V, it likes to crash midway through the game constantly. I can play BF4 for a while before it crashes back to the desktop and i cannot play GTA for more than 10 minutes before it does the same. Sometimes these games even causes a BSOD. As well as, Crysis 3 just completely crashes and freezes my computer after a very short time of playing,
Also sometimes when i'm rendering a video in Sony Vegas Pro 13, i get a BSOD too.
I think it may be to do with my graphics card but i just can't quite put my finger on it. My GPU drivers are all updated.

Beforehand I had Windows 8.1 installed and i re-installed Windows 7 instead to see if this issue would resolve. Only now, my computer blue screened while trying to re-download GTA V which i was going to use to see if this issue was resolved but now it's just extremely aggravating! I tested my GPU out on my friends PC which also had GTA V installed and it seemed to work fine as we were playing it for a good while. If my computer blue screened from downloading a game, then i can only imagine this to be worse while actually games.

Any ideas?

edit: Here's my DM Log file. Incase it shows up, i have not added my product key into Windows yet. I bought a new OEM key but wanted to test these problems first before putting the key in. This is just incase the issue was still ongoing and i could maybe get a refund of it.

Hello Atif.

The 124 stops are CPU related so if you are overclocking please stop and revert to stock speeds. And check your CPU cooler as it might also be inefficient.

Also this:

Just after the crash there is an event that says that the CPU hit critical temperatures "378 Kelvin/105 Celsius" and had to shut down.

So what I would recommend is to check what kind of cooler you have and if you happen to have one of those small ones that come with the Processor I would ditch it as they are not really made for cooling(alright there are some exceptions.). I can suggest buying the Hyper 212 Evo, very good cooler.

I've not done any overclocking at all. And i am actually using the Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo cooler for my cpu!

I don't understand how my PC could've overheated. Have i maybe put an insufficient amount of thermal paste? Or what would explain the games crashing and Blue Screening from before? Is there any more info and/ or recommendations you can give me? The PC is less than six months old.

Oh heh I see well that means that my recommendation would have paid off. And good to know about the no OC'ing.

Um well this is what the computer told you so maybe you should launch the game(s) have the case opened and check the temperatures, I don't think you'll need any instruments, you can basically put your hand near the fan and feel if it is really hot. Oh and check the rest of the cooling as well.

Another thing you can try is to install the latest BIOS your version is 2205 but on the ASUS Support page the latest one is at 2801, that would be "a" recommendation as it says that the update improves system stability.
