Solved BSOD Randomly, Mostly while gaming. Error d1

I bought windows 7 upgrade before Thanksgiving and my computer was fine until around the beginning of December when it started to blue screen on me. I thought maybe the drivers, so I went to HP support and downloaded the BIOS drivers, sound, video, wireless card, and possibly a couple others that I can't recall. When the issue first arrived it was more frequent (3-4 times a day), now I'm down to 1-2 and sometimes I can be on for hours without having a problem. I'm boggled at this point. I've attached the BSOD Dump & System File Collection, and the health check. Could anyone help me out and teach me something new?

Hi.

BSOD was caused by the Atheros NIC driver, update this driver by downloading the latest version from the manufacturer's website.

Thanks for the reply.

I downloaded and attempted to install the driver, but I was prompted that "The best driver software for your device is already installed". I use the device manager to update my drivers from my computer, is there a better way that would work?

Uninstall first the old one then install the new driver.

I uninstalled the driver a couple of times, and every time I get the same message when I go to update. Does windows automatically find the driver files when I scan for hardware changes and update them? or am I doing something wrong?

Do reinstalling of the driver in safemode as Windows will automatically reinstall the same driver.
