This is an old computer I built myself around 8 years ago. Started getting BSOD about a month ago. Just happened once and didn't think much of it. Got another one a couple weeks later, another about a week later, and then this weekend the computer hits a BSOD any time I try to do much of anything. Ran scans to check hard drive and memory with no results same with virus scans. Eventually gave up and reinstalled windows but I'm still getting them.

BSOD seems to occur some what randomly but I think it started around the time I first got my new Razer Anansi keyboard... I also just realized it seems to occur almost exclusively when I'm using it during periods of high load (playing games, installing software, running scans etc)... It's the only thing that has changed about my system since I got it... but seems to be working fine to type this so maybe I'm looking to much into it.

Hello and welcome Mystics mate first up we need some system specs please as it is like working in the dark without them
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/180324-system-info-see-your-system-specs.html

Now you ran a memory test just what test did you use as we only recommend the use of one memory test program and that is this Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool and did you run it like in this ditty of mine

MEMTEST

The memtest you will need to make a bootable disk / stick andset the BIOS to boot from the optical or USB and it will take a fair time torun- some leave it overnight. http://www.memtest.org/

But one thing is very important you must let the test run for at least 8 passes any less and thefindings are no good. Now if errors come up straight away then you can stop it- see my pics. Now if there are errors and you have more than one stick of RAMin then you will need to test each stick ie remove the sticks and replace stick1 in slot 1 and test no errors do the same in slot 2 with stick 1 no errorsthen repeat the process with stick 2 - that will show up the faulty stick - theother thing is it could be a faulty slot but most unusual.

It is a very lengthy and tedious process but worth it if youhave errors.

Plus have you tried using another KB??
Now the dumps are coming up with a reference that is all too common and can be down to a multitude of causes so we must work through them.

Sorry about that, I updated my profile with system specs. The memory test I used was just the default windows one. I'll try to use the one you linked but I've been having trouble booting from anything other than my hard drive (usb is just skipped and I don't really have access to a disk drive outside of one that I borrowed that plugs in via usb) BIOS is set to boot first from USB then from Disk then from hard drive but it doesn't seem to matter it always goes straight to windows. At the moment I have no other keyboard to use since I got this one because my old one stopped working. Thank you for taking the time to assist me with this.

Well I managed to figure out my boot from usb problem. I had to press ft to force it to the boot menu and manually select it. Running memtest86 now. So far no issues yet but it's only 83% through pass 3. I'll let it run the full 8 passes and post again

Thought I fixed the problem finally after a full day of no errors but I had another bsod this morning. This time I had set the bsod to not automatically restart and was able to get the error code. DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Happened while installing updates via windows update. Researched it a bit and attempting to finish updates. Memory test using the recommended program came back with no errors after 8 passes.

Sorry late reply mate now just where did you get the version of Windows 7 from? because the dump is showing me you do not have Service Pack 1 installed. It is needed for any proper operation of 7 and the build should read 7601 not 7600 that was the original version that was released.
Code:
Unable to load image ntoskrnl.exe, Win32 error 0n2

It maybe an idea to check the validity of the version you have to do that go to Genuine Windows - Windows Help and hit Validate.

The other ntoskrnl.exe can be related to many things software or hard ware. but lets get this validation issue out of the way first.

I just reinstalled windows in an effort to solve the bsod problem. That particular dump happened while running windows update to get service pack 1 and... well everything else. I just finished installing all the updates yesterday and thus far haven't had a bsod. The only one that has happened since reinstalling was while downloading updates (2 of which were for the razer anansi which I already downloaded the drivers for from razer but those updates were still in windows update) That said it's late so I'm going to bed.
