BSOD randomly when switching between or exiting out of programs.

Hello

Over the past few months, my computer has been randomly been receiving BSOD messages whenever I switch between programs or when I exit out of certain programs. When I start the computer back up, I'm sometimes greeted with a message stating "A program is not responding. Choose "Switch To" and correct the problem'. Clicking "Switch to" will open up the start menu. Help resolving my issue, would be greatly appreciated.

Avira contributes to bsod. Please remove it for testing purpose. Use Microsoft Security Essentials.
