Solved BSOD randomly

i bought my lenovo z470 in march this year and recently, it keeps having BSOD, i uninstalled google chrome and it went away for awhile...
and BSOD appears randomly, the most recent one was waking it up from sleep

another bsod happen just now...

btw, u asked me to use the driver verifier, after using it, the com has no problem, just that its starts lagging, after deactivating it, the BSOD appears :'(

Start Menu\Programs\McAfee	Public:Start Menu\Programs\McAfee	Public

Uninstall McAfee. It's a frequent cause of BSOD-s. I see that you have Microsoft security essentials installed and having two antiviruses would cause conflicts anyway.

You may install McAfee back if it wasn't the cause of your problems, but uninstall MSE if you do so.
But I would never install McAfee back if it was my computer.

Keep the free version of Malware bytes, it's a great combination with MSE.

• Malwarebytes - Free

:warn: Do not start the free trial of Malware Bytes; remember to deselect that option when prompted.

Run a full scan with both (separately) once downloaded, installed and updated.

Free up the start-up, nothing except the antivirus is usually needed.

Run the System File Checker that scans the of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible:

Run Disk Check on your hard disk for file system errors and bad sectors on it:

i'll give it a try, but from march till september, with the 2 anti-virus, i didnt see any BSOD

I see. But like I said, multiple antiviruses will conflict. If not now, may be later.

This should be a good read for you: is it bad to run multiple antivirus programs?

Anyway, let us know how it went.

erm just curious, how many days without BSOD will it take for me to conclude that the BSOD is fixed?

i tried mcafee alone and den microsoft security alone, both worked without bsod
i guess it did conflict
gonna use mcafee till the subscription expires

Okay, if some day the BSOD appears again you should be sure that McAfee is the cause. Just uninstall and use MSE that time.
