New computer, very little actually on it in terms of software.


  • Memtested and used the Windows Memory Tester as well; No errors reported.
  • Scandisk for hard disk errors, no errors found.
  • unseated and reseated the RAM.
  • cleaned my registry of anything not being used.

Looks like your nVidia driver nvlddmkm.sys is the culprit.

I recommend updating your graphics card drivers.

According to my device manager and the nVidia website, my Driver is up to date and the current version for Win 7

I completely removed all NVidia software and reinstalled all the drivers.

As the problem occurs randomly, I can't really say if it worked. heh.
