this is the error code i got:

Something was not done correctly, the mini dump (the most important file) is not there. I think that you did not run as adminsitrator. Read the instructions, again.

The most straightforward reading of your dumo is that your Atheros network adapter drivers are the cause. They are outdated, so try to find an update.

If that doesn't work, disable the real-time prtotection of Malwarebytes, and remove AVG with this tool: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/avg_arv_sup_____.dir/avgremoverx64.exe

Replace them with MSE: http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials

I'm pretty sure its the driver as i had the same problem before i had avg or malwarebytes on my system.
However, should i even have atheros drivers for a belkin wireless G network adapter? i searched a list of Atheros Network Driver Downloads, and belkin wasnt there?
also, im using a dongle.. arent atheros drivers for wireless cards or wouldnt it make a difference?

so close yet so far..
Apparently your Belkin card used those drivers. See this snip from your msinfo32.sys:

So incase anyone else has these issues, thought id add my chat with belkin customer support:

Sudha K V: Hi, my name is Sudha K V. How may I help you?
Message.gif
vexedbredrin: hi, ive been having problems with my wireless g
Message.gif
vexedbredrin: its causing occasional blue screen errors
Message.gif
Sudha K V: We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Message.gif
Sudha K V: Have you tried installing the adapter on different computer?
Message.gif
vexedbredrin: no, as i want it to work on this one here, which it does, just the drivers which you say on your site work for win7 64bit, dont work
Message.gif
vexedbredrin: at least not well enough\
Message.gif
Sudha K V: May I know the version or FCC ID number of the adapter?
Message.gif
Sudha K V: You can find this information at the base of the adapter.
Message.gif
vexedbredrin: RAX...
Message.gif
vexedbredrin: theres only one that starts with rax isnt there?
Message.gif
vexedbredrin: this isnt a real person is it?
Message.gif
Sudha K V: Yes.
Message.gif
Sudha K V: Thank you.
Message.gif
vexedbredrin: ok cool thank you too
Message.gif
Sudha K V: As I understand you have an issue installing the adapter on windows 7 computer.
Message.gif
vexedbredrin: well no, its installed and works, but the driver causes blue screen errors and i need an update
Message.gif
vexedbredrin: the drivers are not as you say; compatible with windows 7 64-bit
Message.gif
Sudha K V: Not to worry, I will certainly help you with this issue.
Message.gif
Sudha K V: Have you tried downloading the drivers from the web site?
Message.gif
vexedbredrin: yes
Message.gif
vexedbredrin: thats the driver i mean. for the RAX... its not compatilble
Message.gif
Sudha K V: Please download version 4xxx drivers from the website.
Message.gif
Sudha K V: http://en-us-support.belkin.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/297/kw/7050/r_id/166
Message.gif
vexedbredrin: i have that installed
Message.gif
vexedbredrin: ^
Message.gif
vexedbredrin: thats the driver i have, if i attempt to install it, it will promt an uninstall
Message.gif
Sudha K V: To isolate the issue I request you to try installing the adapter on different computer and check if the problem persists.
Message.gif
vexedbredrin: not helpful at all. I own this computer, and need it to work for this one, plus i dont have another 64bit windows 7 hp pavillion lying around my mansion
Message.gif
Sudha K V: I understand your concern, we are just trying to isolate the issue.
Message.gif
Sudha K V: Does adapter works fine on different operating system?
Message.gif
vexedbredrin: i dont have a dual or multi O/S so i wouldnt know
Message.gif
Sudha K V: I am sorry vexedbredrin, this could be an issue with the computer as well. To isolate where the problem is, we would try installing the adapter on different computer.
Message.gif
vexedbredrin: i did actually have problems with the same wireless dongle and 2 other brand new machines (both win7 64bit)
Message.gif
vexedbredrin: so its absolutley a fault with the drivers on your website
Message.gif
vexedbredrin: and not this pc
Message.gif
Sudha K V: Ok.

When you installed the dongle for the first time, did you install drivers from a CD or diff location? or did it set itself up automatically?

You say you have plugged this into other computers and it worked fine? did you just plug it in and it installed itself there?

Since it is pointing to a driver, maybe there is a Vista 64X driver available that won't cause issues.

If you want to test in another environment to rule out computer as cause, you can download Ubuntu to a disk and then run from disk. you should be able to install the dongle there and see if it is giving the same issue. There could be a hardware issue here. Ubuntu homepage | Ubuntu

Can you also give us the make of your motherboard. There might be a mobo BIOS update that has been released for win7. you can find the info by using CPU-Z also let us know what version BIOS is currently on the mobo. Here is a link to CPU-Z: CPU-Z

it did have problems with it in one other (exact same) hp pavillion, before returning it, and i got the driver/installation file from the belkin website, not the disk. As the disk wouldnt work.

can you post the screen from CPU-Z for Mainboard tab. this will show the motherboard and BIOS version. Since this happened on another HP pavillion, it might be the bios

ok so not much info on your mobo. this is norm for OEM's. You BIOS is ver. 5.09 1/22/2010 so that looks like it should be good. the BIOS update was probably along the lines of win7 coming out and BIOS needing patching for new OS. I can't find any other info on it though.
