BSOD "Reference by Pointer"

Win 7 x64 on a Dell E510. Worked fine for more than a year. Suddenly developed BSOD with "Reference By Pointer". Re-booting usually fixes it, but it comes back. DMP file attached.

It is difficult to diagnose from a single DMP file, this one is related to your ESET. I would remove and replace it with MIcrosoft Security essentials.

How To Find Drivers:

- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.

This driver has a much newer version: stwrt64.sys Sun May 06 02:40:37 2007 (463D2405)
You need to get this driver (and maybe others) from your mobo manufacturer. In your case I'd just check on the DELL site and update drivers for your system.

You also have this old 32B driver for a modem: mdmxsdk.sys. Won't work, please delete.
