BSOD, Regular Bugcheck error

A failing GPU or a failing PCIe slot may cause BSODs, but not stop 0xF4's. The stop 0xF4 BSODs are storage related.

You have changed the disc, the motherboard, the sata cables. So what is left? I think nothing???

I am totally out of idea at this moment. I think I need to ask for some more help.

Hi mrd156, if you don't mind please Zip & upload the Kernel dump as I want to take a look
at the memory usage as sometimes 0xF4 can be caused due to a depletion in resources.

Please upload the Kernel dump file using Dropbox or Skydrive, the file is located in the Windows directory
and is usually a few hundred Megabytes in size.

I have updated the system specs. With regards to the second graphics port it is an pci-e (x16 size) x4 speed.

Running the system with just the one graphics card in the main x16 port it runs fine no BSOD.

The memory.dmp is not there because the system is just set to minidump, I have changed this in case we see another BSOD.

Thanks for your help guys

Thanks for the specs.
The BSOD Team wants a mini-dump instead of the kernel dmp.

New grab all as below;
View attachment 299253

Something I did note was when I have a graphics card connected to the second port I will not physically see a blue screen display. The system would freeze screens go blank then you here the system beep. Windows recovery shows then you see the windows crashed pop-up after log-in.

Here is a link for the motherboard,
GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1150 - GA-B85M-D3H (rev. 1.x)

These are the details on the expantion slots;
1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x16 (PCIEX16)
* For optimum performance, if only one PCI Express graphics card is to be installed, be sure to install it in the PCIEX16 slot.
(The PCIEX16 slot conforms to PCI Express 3.0 standard.)
1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x4 (PCIEX4)
2 x PCI slots

On a higher specified motherboard, GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1150 - GA-Z87X-D3H (rev. 1.x)
I see it says to do this * When installing a x8 or above card in the PCIEX4 slot, make sure to set PCIE Slot Configuration in BIOS Setup to x4.

In the BIOS of my system there is only one option I see; I have changed between the Gen modes and it does not seem to make a difference (still get BSOD when connected to second port, also have tried both graphics cards have the same BSOD with either connected). In the system block diagram is shows two PCI bus' one for the main x16 graphics port and a second x4 bus with the x16 size graphics port and two PCI ports shared. I have been using one of the PCI ports for an Intel network adapter.

Miscellaneous Settings
PEG Gen3 Slot Configuration
Allows you to set the operation mode of the PCI Express slots to Gen 1, Gen 2, or Gen 3. Actual operation
mode is subject to the hardware specification of each slot. For example, the PCI Express x1 slots can
support up to Gen 2 mode only. Auto lets the BIOS automatically configure this setting. (Default: Auto)

Here is the motherboard layout;

The second PCI-e x16 size (x4 speed) only has the pins in the port for x4 connection. I had only noted this yesterday.

The graphics card supports this type of connection PCI Express 2.0 x16 (Compatible with 1.1)

Here is an image of the motherboard so you can see what I mean.
